Summer Experiences

The Levine Scholars Program creates a comprehensive undergraduate experience that integrates classroom, extracurricular, community engagement and leadership opportunities over a four year period. Summer opportunities allow the students to expand their views of themselves and their communities as they move through their educational experiences.

Generally, the summer programs have two overarching goals: first, to give Levine Scholars the tools they will need to examine their personal identity and align their choices in programs of study and out-of-class activities with their strengths and values; and second, to give Scholars an opportunity to put their ideas into practice in a range of environments. The Levine summer experiences consist of a pre-college leadership expedition; a nonprofit internship in Charlotte; a pre-professional internship; and an international experience.
