The final summer offers Levine Scholars an international experience that provides new opportunities and environments in which to make a difference.  Scholars spend anywhere from several weeks to three semesters abroad with an agency, business, program or government, and are charged to bring back knowledge that applies to the global community.  The scholarship support provided allows each Levine Scholar to shape a unique experience that will motivate him or her to grow personally, intellectually, and pre-professionally.  Levine Scholars return with an increased self-awareness and understanding, as well as a broader definition of community that extends beyond the campus and Charlotte region.

Over the last four years, Levine Scholars have traveled to Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Iceland, India, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, and the United Kingdom.
