In reflecting on why he chose UNC Charlotte and the Levine Scholars Program (LSP), Seth Flynn ’19 stated “the LSP made an investment in me, making me feel confident that I would have an extensive network of people dedicated to helping me reach my full potential as a student and scholar.” The Burnsville, NC native is double majoring in Biology and Chemistry and minoring in Public Health. He plans to enroll in medical school after graduation.
Seth has conducted research in two major studies and will be presenting his work in the upcoming National Conference on Undergraduate Research in Omaha, NE. Additionally, Seth has traveled extensively with LSP sponsored trips to Paris, France and Stellenbosch, South Africa; he also participated in LSP Alternative Spring Break Trips to Lewisburg, WV and Roanoke, VA – where he served as the scholar chair helping to plan and implement the trip. Seth currently volunteers with Hospice Charlotte.
